Desert Sunrise is inspired by a trip I took to Joshua Tree in the spring. There is nothing more beautiful than waking up to a sunrise over the desert surrounded by rock and cactus. This cowl uses a mix of color and texture to give the feel of being in the desert during sunrise. A quick and easy cowl meant for knitters new to colorwork with a bit of fun texture added in.
Designing Desert Sunrise cowl was a true labor of love. Having never designed anything before it was a huge learning process. There were moments of frustration and fear but so many of joy and excitement. My goal is not to make tons of money or become famous from this but more to explore my creativity and my passion for knitting.
