RN by day, knitter by night

Hi, I’m Elena! I’m a 30 something year old nurse who has a passion for knitting, gardening and cruising. Basically, I’m a grandma and I’m okay with that.

My passion for knitting started when I was 9 and desperately wanted to learn how to knit and tried to teach myself. It ended terribly with me in tears and throwing my yarn across the room. That lead my mom to sign me up for a knitting class and I’ve been knitting ever since. I can often be found with knitting needles in my hand or off squishing yarn from my massive stash. I am by no means an exceptional knitter, but I like pushing myself and trying new things. I want this blog for me to share my thoughts, mistakes of which there are many.

So that’s me in a nutshell, a crazy obsessed knitter, with a stash to last me a life time. I am writing this blog for me, I’m not trying to impress anyone with my mad writing skills (for which I have none, not to mention my spelling and grammar suck). This is just a way to share my thoughts to anyone willing to listen. I don’t claim to be an expert in any topic I post about, but if my tips can help anyone with their projects great! As a self-proclaimed introvert this is a big leap out of my comfort zone. With all that being said, welcome to my crazy thoughts.
