Welcome to the Frog Pond
The frog pond is an area I have been all too familiar with lately and I hate visiting it. I have frogged my Summer Sorrell top 2 times and I just can’t take it anymore. This poor top is sick of going to the frog pond. The first visit was because the waist was way too big, luckily I had only gotten 3” into the body so it was just a short visit. I also realized that my fade was off and it was a good opportunity to make changes. The second visit was after I had knit the entire body and the fade was still off. It was a slight math error that caused the body length to be way too long. Instead of just omitting the last color and calling it a day, the perfectionist in me had to frog back all the way to the beginning and make the perfect fade. That sadly was a long stay at the frog pond.
Sadly, my Lifesavers Cardigan will also be taking a rather long vacation to the frog pond. It could have been a shorter stay if all I was doing was fixing the button band, but I figured since I am already hanging out at the pond might as well make it a longer stay and frog most of the body as well. The reason why is because I omitted the waist shaping and regret it. The body is just a little too boxy for my taste and the waist shaping will really help it out. I omitted it originally because I was worried it would be too small but clearly that was not the issue.
Sigh, the frogs have really gotten to know me well in these last few weeks. I will not be sorry if I don’t have to visit their pond any time soon.
